Robert Half Executive Search has been exclusively retained by one of Tasmania’s leading not-for-profit aged care providers to appoint a strategic and hands-on Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to guide the organisation through a significant transformation journey and ensure ongoing financial sustainability, compliance, and future readiness.
About the Organisation
The client offers aged care, retirement living, home care, respite, and allied health services across multiple sites and seeks a financial leader to drive growth and continue delivering compassionate care to the Tasmanian community.
The Role
Reporting to the CEO and leading a team of circa 20, including 2 senior direct reports, the CFO is responsible for the integrity of all financial management and reporting across the organisation, shaping the financial strategy and supporting informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities

Your Profile
The ideal candidate will be a seasoned financial leader with deep expertise in a regulated environment. * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
* Successful track record of delivering significant transformation in finance, IT, culture, and operations.

* Demonstrable experience in leading large finance teams.
* Strong relationship building skills, both internal and external.
* Understanding of compliance requirements within the Aged Care Act 2024, prudential standards, ASIC, and ACNC would be advantageous.
* Adaptable, proactive, and forward-thinking, thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Passionate about aged care, with a strong appreciation for its positive impact on the community.
* NDIS endorsement and police checks.
For ambitious financial leaders, this highly visible role provides access to Board level and internal and external opportunities for career development.
