We believe in fostering a supportive community that engages families and empowers educators.We are seeking a passionate and experienced Early Childhood Teacher with a Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) Registration to join our team.Village Early Education offers one full day per week for planning for early childhood teachers, along with 6 weeks of annual leave.

We understand our responsibilities and statutory duty of care and are committed to raising awareness about the importance of child safety in our organisation and our communities, which is essential for promoting healthy and safe learning environments for children.Key ResponsibilitiesCurriculum Development: Create and deliver engaging programs and experiences tailored to the developmental needs and interests of three-year-old children in line with the VEYLDF.Classroom Management: Establish and maintain a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and learning.Programming and Planning: Document children's learning and development in line with the VEYLDF.Family Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with families through effective communication.Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues and centre management to ensure a harmonious, collaborative work environment and contribute to the overall success of the centre.Health and Safety: Ensure a safe and healthy workplace in compliance with relevant regulations, the National Quality Framework, and Village Early Education's policies.Qualifications & Experience:Education: Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent.Victorian Institute of Teaching: Full Registration ideal, provisional considered.Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience teaching young children, preferably in a kindergarten or early childhood setting.Skills: Strong understanding of early childhood development and best practices in early childhood.
