The Role
If you have a passion for customer service in the Concrete industry and a talent for problem solving and prioritising workload, then this is the opportunity for you We currently have an opportunity for a Batcher / Senior Batch Plant Operator to join our Narangba team.
In this diverse position, you will play a critical role in our business by ensuring customer expectations are met at all stages of our ordering & delivery processes. You will provide excellent customer service whilst taking orders, batching concrete to customer specifications, and scheduling and allocating deliveries to maximise the efficiency and utilisation of our concrete agitator trucks. You will also operate mobile and fixed plant and equipment, including front end loaders and forklifts.

Responsibilities
- Represent the Hy-Tec brand and provide excellent phone-based customer service
- Take orders and finalise the sale of pre-mixed concrete for delivery
- Batch concrete to specific mix designs via a computerised system
- Use software packages to schedule rostering and truck movements for the region
- Ensure Chain of Responsibility requirements are adhered to at all times
- Order raw materials
What you will need to succeed
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Previous experience in Command/Jonel batching systems (desired but not essential)
- Experienced Plant Operator (FEL preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise work effectively in an environment of constant change
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to build rapport with diverse customers
- Confident when working with computers
