This is an opportunity to contribute to building Victoria's resilience to future floods. You will support and provide information people need to attract funding, develop, and deliver flood studies, mitigation infrastructure and flood warning development. To be successful in the role you will be a strong communicator, with a track record of recognising, tackling and solving issues as they emerge.
Encouraging the establishment of rigorous governance arrangements, building stakeholder trust, and a thorough understanding of relevant policy and project management are key delivery aspects of the role.

Specialist/Technical Expertise/QualificationsMandatory: Must have a current and valid driver's license, as required by state lawDesirable: An appropriate qualification in engineering, science, natural resource or environmental managementDesirable: Previous experience in policy implementation and/or project managementDesirable: Experience in floodplain management programs.This is an ongoing position. The work location for this position is flexible within Victoria with hybrid work arrangements available.
