Destination NSW is also the major investor in Business Events Sydney (BE Sydney) for the purpose of securing more international and domestic conventions, incentive travel reward programs, corporate events and exhibitions for Sydney and regional NSW.About the role The Senior Finance Business Partner is responsible for the day-to‐day management of the business relationship between the DNSW Finance team and its key divisional stakeholders. This role works closely with the management team to provide timely support and analysis, be a trusted advisor and add value that will assist decision making including the review of contract commitments and budget governance.Key accountabilitiesCollaborate with leaders to ensure that their service delivers value to customers and act as the interface between finance and the broader team.Assist managers to establish effective and appropriate governance, assess the service's strategic financial position and support effective investment and financing decision making.Responsible for advice, support and development of capability in relation to budget analysis, financial management and reporting at an SAP WBS project program and cost centre level, and ensuring advice is complying with financial delegations, policy and procedures.Provide timely delivery of high‐quality financial reports and analysis, identifying material variances and trends, and recommending strategies to maintain benchmarks and improve efficiencies.Ensure consistent monitoring, reporting and analysis of actuals, and support the DNSW Finance team in the preparation of accurate monthly projections across the portfolio.For any role specific questions please reach out to Christopher Wong, Associate Director Finance via Christopher.Wong@dnsw.com.auClick here to view the role description!About YouTertiary qualifications with exposure in Accounting, Business, Economics or Commerce or another relevant field.Experience in budget management in the marketing and events industries.Membership or applying for membership qualification of the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand or CPA Australia or IIA Australia, or equivalent relevant experience.How to Apply!
