Job Type: Full-time, Permanent - onsite 5 days per week (No remote working)

This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a crucial role, working with a supportive team and making a real impact on customers' financial journeys. The role is a permanent, full-time position based entirely in the office, offering stability and the chance to build strong relationships with your colleagues and clients.
The Opportunity:
This role goes beyond just processing loans. You will be a trusted advisor, guiding customers through personal loans, mortgages, and refinances. Your DLA qualification and 2-5 years of experience will be put to excellent use as you handle everything from initial interviews to final settlements and ongoing administration.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct comprehensive customer interviews and manage a portfolio of loan inquiries.
* Assess all aspects of consumer credit, including eligibility, affordability, and security.
* Process applications efficiently and accurately through the Loan Origination System.
* Prepare and issue all necessary approval letters, contracts, and compliance documents.
* Manage collections activities and liaise with third-party solicitors for settlements.
* Identify business development opportunities and collaborate with the Loans Manager on complex cases.
* Ensure all lending activities adhere to strict regulatory codes, including FSR legislation.
What You'll Need to Succeed:
* A Delegated Lending Authority (DLA) qualification is a mandatory requirement.
* A minimum of 2 years of experience in a credit or lending environment.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong organizational skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
* High level of proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
* In-depth knowledge of privacy legislation and related acts.
