About the Role: We are seeking a compassionate and caring individual to join our team as a Care Service Employee.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* To enable individuals to live well by showing loving care in all that you do.
* Develop genuine connections and make a meaningful difference that supports the wellbeing of each resident.
* Work in partnership with residents to achieve their goals by assisting with the implementation of their individual care plans.
* Demonstrate kindness and respect for the resident's dignity as you assist with personal and daily care, and activities of interest to the individual.
* Encourage individual choice through an appreciation and understanding of the things that matter to your residents and their families.
* Provide regular feedback to your supervisor or manager on the resident's progress, new requests, changes, or any concerns.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Certificate III in Aged Care Work or undertaking Undergraduate Registered Nurse training.
* Be physically able to carry out required duties in a safe and efficient manner.
* Have basic technology/computer skills and a willingness to take part in ongoing education.
* Be able to understand verbal and written communication in English.
* Have the ability to communicate with residents, families, and team members.
* Demonstrate an understanding and appreciation of our organisation's values and promote them through interactions at work.
