**About the role**:
As a Horticulture Team Member you will work as part of a team participating in the establishment and maintenance of the City's many parks, gardens and reserves, including the City's stunning foreshore areas. This is a full time role working a nine-day fortnight with a rostered day off.
**You will be responsible for routine landscape maintenance which will include**:
- Weed control (manual and herbicidal)
- Pruning
- Planting
- Mulching
- Litter control
**To succeed you will need the following competencies**:
- Previous experience in a horticulture role where you have undertaken a wide range of parks and gardens maintenance and development activities.
- A demonstrated understanding of horticultural maintenance practices and techniques, including the ability to correctly use a range of small plant and equipment.
- A commitment to producing work of the highest quality.
- The proven ability to work well in a team, and excellent customer service skills.
- A desire to learn and develop your skills.
- A valid White Card.
