We are seeking a skilled professional to join our Northern Australia Power Team in a rewarding Darwin-based role. In this position, you will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects across power delivery, industrial power, and power generation.
The ideal candidate will possess formal qualifications in electrical engineering and 8+ years' experience in the design and delivery of power projects, including renewables and industrial projects. Additionally, they will be skilled in liaising with utilities providers and have experience with technical supervision and mentoring less experienced team members.
Key responsibilities include delivering technical expertise to clients and senior colleagues, performing general electrical engineering tasks, preparing and reviewing technical reports, developing and/or verifying the technical scope of projects, undertaking technical design and documentation of power and industrial projects, and leading technical delivery.
Contribution to Business Development is also expected, including identifying new services to existing and new clients, proposal preparation, and winning work. Furthermore, the candidate will contribute to the development of GHD's knowledge and skills in power engineering.
