Position
As a Design Draftsperson, you'll play a key role in helping pharmacy owners bring their future space to life by creating layouts that clearly showcase how BD Rowa automation will sit and function within their environment. This is a 2‐year fixed‐term contract where you'll work across projects in ANZ, designing dispensary and retail layouts while engaging directly with customers to walk through concepts, refine designs and bring ideas to a final outcome.
Key Responsibilities
* Design pharmacy layouts and workflows incorporating BD Rowa solutions.
* Create concept sketches and final installation drawings for implementation.
* Work directly with customers to explain designs, present options and refine layouts.
* Adapt designs based on feedback, requirements and workflow considerations.
* Develop design briefs based on customer needs and project objectives.
* Support the Project and Sales teams by visualising solutions during later sales stages.
* Design workflow concepts that optimise space, efficiency and usability.
* Maintain and update design documentation and project records.
* Identify opportunities to improve design output, including 3D or enhanced visualisation.
* Stay informed on retail and pharmacy design trends.
Qualifications and Experience
* Experience using AutoCAD or similar design software.
* Background in retail, store layout or interior design (highly regarded).
* Strong communication skills and confidence presenting designs to customers.
* Ability to take feedback and adapt designs in real time.
* Proactive, solution‐focused approach.
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Interest in improving design quality, including 3D or enhanced visualisation.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently.
* Experience designing pharmacy layouts is advantageous, but not essential.
