At Beca HunterH2O, we're seeking an Intermediate Civil Engineer to join our multidisciplinary water team in Newcastle. With a passion for healthy and sustainable communities, our team of 300+ water specialists collaborate with clients across various locations. We combine our expertise in water engineering with access to over 4000 multi-disciplinary specialists, providing the best solutions for our clients.
The Opportunity
We're looking for someone who shares our vision of 'Creative people together transforming our world'. As an Intermediate Civil Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing and engineering water and wastewater treatment plants, reservoirs, pump stations, and conveyance pipelines. Your tasks will include reviewing design requirements, conducting site investigations, performing calculations, modelling, overseeing drafting, and preparing reports and specifications.
About You
* You have a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a closely related engineering discipline.
* You have a minimum of 3 years' experience in water and wastewater treatment and/or conveyance design.
* You possess knowledge of safety in design, constructability, and operational practices, as well as relevant Australian standards and WSAA codes.
* You have experience managing small to medium engineering design projects.
* You are committed to working safely within the company's HSEQ systems.
