Technical Field Support Role
This is a remote, ad-hoc opportunity for an experienced Field Engineer/Field Technician to work with a top-tier global technology client.
The successful candidate will provide technical assistance to internal employees via various mediums. Key responsibilities include:
* Desktop and server support: hardware, network, and software installation and troubleshooting
* Essential experience with O365 due to the nature of the environment
* Active Directory (users, mailbox management), Operating system support (Windows 10 & 7, Linux)
* Prior experience working in hardware break and fix, installation, desk-side software support, and service desk support
Additionally, the ideal candidate should have:
* Proven experience in a Technical support environment performing fault investigation, triaging, and resolution
* Experience with supporting a corporate Windows and Linux environment
* Experience with supporting physical and virtual environments (Desktop and Servers)
* Office 365, Outlook, exchange, and other critical business application support
Key skills required include a strong understanding of technical concepts and proven problem-solving abilities.
