Based in Emerald, Queensland – CQ Commercial Laundry is the leading provider of linen services to the mining & hospitality sectors in Central Queensland. We are a mature business operating for over 30 years. The current operator has owned the business for the last 15 years. Our business has undergone a major plant upgrade recently to nearly triple the plant capacity.

Core Responsibilities
* Administrative Oversight: Managing the daily operations of our office, including supervising staff.
* Financial Management: Preparing and managing Xero files, including monthly Profit and Loss development, management of payables and receivables, Monthly BAS, Diesel fuel rebate and payroll tax calculations.
* Human Resources Management: Assisting with staff recruitment, coordinating onboarding/induction for new hires, maintaining personnel records, managing Payroll and HR Functions utilising Tanda HR systems.
* Compliance & Safety: Oversee compliance to our ISO management systems to ensure adherence to health and safety (OSHA) and employment regulations.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
Technical Skills
Strong leadership skills, capacity to support staff, adaptability for shifting priorities, and excellent communication to act as a central point of contact for departments.
Supervisory Skills
The ability to troubleshoot scenarios that require out of the box thinking to ensure our business goals are achieved.
Education/Experience
* A degree in business administration/accounting
* 2-5 years of relevant management experience
