Your role as a Regional Manager will be responsible for the overall performance of your region with a focus on building on the success of your retail team and in turn of Bendigo Bank in the area. A highly collaborative role working in partnership with the state leadership team Community Bank boards and other key stakeholders.
In this dynamic and high-impact role youll make your mark by :
Coaching and developing leadership competencies in the branch leaders across your region
Guiding our branch leaders to shape and enhance their strategies for optimising profitability community connection and delivering an exceptional customer experience in alignment with the state strategic plan
Overseeing performance and understanding the individual needs of your branches which are made up of various sizes maturity structures and communities
Being a lifelong learner. Bring your brilliant mind and well help you take your career to the next level with on-the-job training and other learning opportunities

This is a permanent full-time position based in in the Canberra supporting branches across the Canberra and South Coast region. Some travel within regional ACT and NSW will be required.
What youll bring to the role
To succeed in this role youll influence the growth and development of our branches and staff within our communities. Wed love you to have :
People leadership with the ability to develop coach and manage performance
Strong communication skills to deliver clear expectationsacross the region
Proven sales leadership through implementing strategy to drive business
Effective and influential presentation and public speaking skills
Experience in building a strategic plan for the market
Strong relationship management with ability to effectively network and engage with your community and partners
Understanding of financial management business acumen and risk framework
Experience in retail banking (desirable but not essential)
Experience working with a board (desirable but not essential)
