Wollongong Linemarking Services is a linemarking company established in 1990. Originally undertaking linemarking of carparks, the business has had continual growth over 30 years to become a major contractor for TfNSW (RMS) and 9 Local Councils (LGA approved contractor) throughout regional NSW and ACT.
Through secure long-term contract work with Transport for New South Wales, we are experiencing significant growth and have an exciting opportunity for a **Works Supervisor** to lead our longitudinal operations.
**The Role**
Reporting to the General Manager, the Works Supervisor is responsible for directing and monitoring the day-to-day operations of a crew of 4 to 8 Linemarkers and Traffic Controllers.
Detailed responsibilities of the role include:
- Ensuring the safety of the crew and the general public on or near the worksite
- Caring for company plant, equipment and vehicles and reporting any damage or maintenance requirements
- Following and providing guidance on Company's Integrated Management System
- Completing all the paperwork required under the work and quality system requirements
- Conducting and recording on site inductions and toolbox safety talks
- Managing on-site traffic control
- Communicating with the customer representatives on site
- Delivering works that meet customer standards and requirements
- Ensuring all inspection and testing is completed and recorded
- Reporting incidents, accidents and non-conformances
**About You**
As a qualified and experienced Linemarker, you will have strong knowledge of TFNSW R145 & R142 specifications, TCAWS Manual V.7 (TRAFCON) and be proficient in operating the plant and equipment involved in linemarking. Through your relevant experience, you have leadership qualities and an ability to work as part of a team to complete works according to schedule.
Further requirements of the role include:
- Availability to work day shift, night shift & travel (LAFH)
- Traffic Control tickets
- Operational experience of longitudinal machinery (waterborne and/or thermoplastic)
- Medium Rigid Licence (HR Preferred)
- Level 2 First Aid (Preferrable)
- White Card Construction induction
- Workers on Foot

The base salary for this role is $80-$100k (negotiable based on experience) plus super, all penalty rates and overtime, an attractive travel allowance, company vehicle and phone.
