Salary Range: Level 5 $120,428 - Level 6 $126,541 (dependant on experience & qualifications) + 12% Superannuation

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our Projects team as a Project Coordinator on a permanent full-time basis.
About Us
Mid West Ports Authority (MWPA) provides an essential service, connecting regional Australia to national and international markets as a specialist port catering to boutique and diverse operations.
MWPA operates seven (7) commercial berths and critical marine and land assets which enables the facilitation of trade for the Mid West region, exporting a variety of products including iron ore, grains, mineral sands, non-mineral sands and mineral concentrates. The Port also imports fuel, fertiliser and break bulk cargo. The Port of Geraldton also encompasses the Geraldton Fishing Boat Harbour (FBH), home to Geraldton's fishing industry. The FBH provides significant opportunities for further development of the Port and activation of a thriving commercial and leisure industry hub.

About the Role
Reporting to the MPWA Project Manager(s), the Project Coordinator is to be committed to maintaining and supporting MWPA's projects objectives, delivering value to project managers and broader stakeholders ensuring effective and collaborative management of projects and project deliverables.
The Project Coordinator will coordinate project schedules, budgets, procurement activities and support the Project Manager(s) in identifying and resolving issues and risks within projects. It is the role of the Project Coordinator to make sure that projects are delivered within the guiding principles for on-time, on-cost, through to meet quality requirements and objectives. Ensure projects follow the Project and Assurance Frameworks and provide feedback and reporting of project compliance. This can include communicating with various departments within the organization, making sure all stakeholders are on the same page, considered and consulted within projects.
Supporting the Project Manager, through the project lifecycle whilst gaining knowledge of the larger landscape across the port influencing projects better understanding the granular details impacting project health and risk.
About You
Key qualifications and experience:
Essential
* Bachelor's degree, Diploma or Certificate IV in project management or relevant industry experience with a willingness to gain a project management qualification.
* Experience in project management support role.
* Experiencing working in an engineering, trade and or IT projects environment.
* Developing, maintaining, and managing project schedules (Gantt Charts)
* Stakeholder and resource management experience.
* Experience in the use of Office 365, MS Project, Visio, ERP financial management systems
* Advanced skills set in communication and interpersonal skills, including conflict management and resolution. With strong organisational skills, with excellent verbal and written ability.
