**Your new role**
The SharePoint Analyst will be required to work in a cross functional team environment and closely work with the Solution Architect and the Project Manager to deliver a successful migration process from SharePoint on premises to a modern online environment with the use of M365 suite of tools. Few of the duties and responsibilities are listed below.
- Analyse the source environment and get a good understanding of the business use and needs to design and implement a high-quality target design for the migration.
- Execute the migration, validating the progress and reporting on the success of the migration.
- Work through migration issues uncovered to resolution and perform delta migrations where required.
- Contribute to team effectiveness and quality including peer reviews, architectural and design advisory, testing, defect analysis and resolution, and documentation.
- Contribute to a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and optimisation.
- Contribute to a strong, positive, inclusive, and collaborative team culture, including setting an example for others to follow and encouraging demonstration of organisations' values.
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Strong knowledge of:
- Microsoft M365, MS SharePoint online, MS Teams, OneDrive, Power Platform and Yammer (mandatory)
- PowerShell scripting (desirable)
- ShareGate migration tool and Broken Link Manager tools (highly desirable)
- Purview and Confluence knowledge (desirable)
- Azure DevOps / other modern version control and CI/CD tooling (desirable)
- JIRA for defect tracking and resolution (desirable)
- Experience in:
- Experience in explaining complex technical concept to non-technical people (mandatory)
- Experience in Microsoft SharePoint 365 deployments, configurations, and migrations. (mandatory)
- Experience in deploying and configuring MS Teams. (mandatory)
- Experience in designing, building/configuring IP, sensitivity labels and rules, DLP and other governance and cyber requirements in MS 365 and AvePoint (mandatory)
- Experience in designing and setting up Power Platform (mandatory)
- Experience with testing and other approaches to maintaining high quality delivery (mandatory)
- Experience with preparing and optimising estimates and delivery plans (desirable)
