Optus Business is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Billing Executive to join our team, based in our Sydney or Melbourne offices. This role is responsible for implementing billing for Optus Business, Uecomm, and Small Business customers. The primary objective is to ensure accurate and timely invoicing, aligned with customer contracts and services. This involves complex administration, interpretation of customer orders, understanding network services, and customer contractual pricing. The role requires driving billing accuracy and timeliness, ensuring revenue is captured correctly, providing feedback to improve billing processes, and contributing to customer satisfaction measures.
The Billing Executive will liaise broadly across departments and management levels, making it a dynamic and engaging position
The Day to Day
* Maximize customer satisfaction through accurate and timely billing.
* Manage a set number of billing orders per day to completion.
* Ensure all orders are actioned within agreed SLAs.
* Investigate and correct billing error reports.
* Manage team drop box and online change requests within SLAs.
* Ensure customers are billed as per their contractual agreement.
* Interpret complex billing requirements across all OB non-mobile products.
* Handle enquiry management with respect to customer billing issues and disputes.
* Build and maintain relationships with key internal working groups to facilitate accurate billing inputs and timely responses to billing enquiries.
* Proactively educate upstream teams on correct billing input requirements.
