We are seeking a HR Coordinator to provide efficient human resources and volunteer administration and timely payroll services.
This role is part-time permanent position (4 days / 30.4 hours per week) and is based in the Norwest/Baulkham Hills region of Sydney, with the potential for hybrid work by agreement.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
- 3+ year's experience in payroll and HR administration.
- Proficiency with Tanda or similar HRIS/payroll systems.
- Knowledge of payroll processes, NES, and Award compliance.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and service focus.
- The ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
- Desirable: Certificate IV in HR, Business, or a related discipline, or multi-site workforce experience.
Your Role and Responsibilities
This role has key responsibilities across HR/Volunteer Administration, Payroll, and IT, including:
- Act as the first point of contact for employees and volunteer's HR queries.
- Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding, including required compliance checks (e.g., WWCC, police checks).
- Track and monitor training, compliance, and certifications.
- Serve as the first point of contact for all staff and volunteer IT-related queries and issues.
- Process fortnightly payroll (approx. 1 day/fortnight), ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain payroll records (e.g., overtime, leave entitlements) and prepare compliance reporting (superannuation).
- Maintain an up-to-date register of IT assets and coordinate onboarding/offboarding IT setup.
- Provide administrative support for appraisals, recognition programs, and policy updates.
