Position: Hairdresser
Location: Calvary Haydon Retirement Community
Responsibilities:
* Provide professional hairdressing services to our residents on-site.
* Create a welcoming and comfortable environment for residents during their appointment.
* Offer a range of services including haircuts, styling, colouring, and basic hair care treatments.
* Engage with residents to understand their preferences and ensure their satisfaction.
* Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the salon area.
The successful applicant would be engaged approximately once weekly, to be negotiated. They will work as a sub-contractor to the organisation.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a hairdresser with expertise in cutting and styling hair.
* Empathy and patience in working with individuals.
* Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with residents and colleagues.
* Ability to work independently and manage your schedule efficiently.
* Certification or relevant training in hairdressing.
* ABN and insurance
