The ROLE
* Assists with planning and construction phases of projects
* Plans and supports onsite construction activities including providing direction as required
* Assists in the preparation of the construction and environmental method statements and other project documentation as required
* Sets up project quality controls in accordance with Project Specifications
* Tracks daily production and costings within area of responsibility
* Assists Project Manager in evaluating third party designs and construction methods
* Ensures that all activities are completed in a safe and efficient way

About YOU
* Solid background in Asphalt & Sealing – ideally 3+ years or more relevant experience
* Strong working knowledge of Civil Engineering principles
* Good knowledge of regulatory governance, legislative requirements, codes of practice and compliance requirements
* Highly developed communication skills both written and verbal to effectively communicate with customers, colleagues and management
* Reliable, calm under pressure and ability to get the job done with a safety focus
* Comfortable using IT, completing forms and undertaking basic reporting
* Experience working with or for local councils is a plus
Must haves
* Bachelor of Civil Engineering or equivalent
* Construction Industry White Card
* Current drivers licence
* Full working rights in Australia
Desirables
* Current First Aid certification
* Traffic control or TMI
