We are currently seeking Welders and Machine Operators available for an immediate start working for a high-profile client based in Forrestfield.
* Forrestfield location
* Full time hours available Monday to Friday
* Day Shift $38+ per hour plus penalty rates
* Afternoon Shift $43+ per hour plus penalty rates
* MUST be able to pass an instant drug and alcohol test
* MUST be available to work Monday to Friday
* MUST be flexible to work Saturdays and OT on an adhoc basis
* Potential for ongoing work for the right person
Day to day duties include:
* Prefabrication of structures
* Basic machine operation
Machine Operators
* Operating KRB, bending and folding machines
* General Labour
* Hand and power tool use
* General house keeping
* Must have a Forklift licence (LF licence)
* Can load trucks with structural steel products and assist with tying down of loads
* Must have minimum 2 years experience as a store person in a warehouse environment.
The successful candidates will have the following:
* Welding experience (required for welding roles)
* Crane and gantry experience (required for crane operator roles)
* High level communication skills
* Basic literacy and numeracy skills
* Strong Safety Focus
* Ability to work efficiently in fast paced environment
* Willingness to work overtime once fully trained
* A positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
* Own transport and drivers license
* Ability to pass a pre employment medical and drug and alcohol test
* Physically fit - capable of lifting 20+kgs.
Must have Full working rights in Australia.
