As a Project Staging Technician, you will work without immediate supervision or direction to provide our customers with a great experience by activating, staging and assuring telecommunications / technology products and services, in the home and/or business.

This role is for a 24-month fixed-term contract
Perform at or above the expected KPI’s, exceed customer expectations and possess the desired leadership attributes and qualities, aligned to our business strategy, including
* Deliver a high standard of courteous, efficient and personalised service to customers.
* Ensure work is undertaken in a timely cost-effective manner, work efficiently and at a high standard to meet the performance targets set.
* Provide customer support and guidance regarding our consumer and small business products and services.
* Participate in process and knowledge sharing with your peers.
* Ensure that Telstra’s network and customer data is always protected and treated with confidentiality.
* Actively engage in all internal meetings and lead programs and initiatives that you are selected to participate in.
We have a position available at our Kemps Creek, NSW facility. The expectation is to reside in the targeted area or be willing to relocate.
Key Responsibilities:
* Working on and simplex commissioning ICT equipment to customers specifications which could include routers, switches, wireless technology, video conferencing, mobile devices both android and Apple.Complete assurance & activation of products, services & CPE.
* Possess skills regarding the utilisation of test equipment, tools and instruments, aligned to the products and services listed below.
* Undertake recalls.
* Ensure Fee for Service processes are adhered to maximise the external revenue stream.
* Connect or replace customer equipment where required, return faulty equipment in a timely manner.
* Ensure complete, accurate and timely entry of timesheets, job transaction records and site survey requirements. Ensure correct booking codes are used to capture any on or off region bookings.
Qualifications:
An employee will be required to possess and maintain the relevant and applicable licences/qualifications to perform this role, as deemed mandatory by regulatory and legal authorities and must also possess and maintain a current driver’s licence.
Demonstrate experience and competency across all listed skills and accountabilities is essential.
Evidence of the ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
Proven competency in operating all test equipment required to perform the skillset listed. Ability to analyse and report results for voice, data and network technologies.
