About the CompanyOur client is a not-for-profit within the childcare sector.
About the RoleAs the HRBP, you will provide advice to stakeholders regarding HR policies and procedures.
Working closely with the HR Manager, HRBPs and HR Administrators, you will support the wider organisation with HR-related initiatives, aligning with the HR strategy.
This is a temporary contract, with the potential to convert to permanent.
The role is based fully on-site in their Derrimut office.
To set you up for success, you will have experience working in the Early Childhood or Education sector.DutiesAs the HRBP, your duties will include: Strategic HR Partnering - working closely with stakeholders to provide solutions to HR-related queries, ensuring close relations with the different functions within the business.Change Management - supporting leaders and employees through change initiatives occurring within the business, referring to HR policies and procedures, and explaining the strategy for such changes.Learning and Development - providing coaching and training to leaders on HR policies and initiatives, identifying any training gaps and rolling out programs when necessary.Talent Acquisition and Onboarding - supporting the HR team with recruitment, and providing an excellent onboarding experience for new members of staff.Employment Relations - provide guidance and support to leaders and staff on workplace issues, ensuring a positive, respectful and productive work environment.OHS and Return to Work - ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) regulations, promoting a safe and healthy work environment for all staff.
Lead the return-to-work process, supporting injured or ill employees in their transition back to work with tailored plans and accommodations.EBAs - knowledge of EBAs and experience with EBA application and implementation.P&C Administration - strong flexibility to assist with employee contracts, recruitment adverts, scheduling interviews, training, compliance etc.Skills & ExperienceTo be a successful candidate, you will ideally have:Qualifications in Human Resource Management or similar.Experience working in a HR function as a BP/generalist.Experience working in the Early Childhood or Education sector.Understanding of Enterprise Bargaining Agreements and relevant Awards.Excellent negotiating, influencing and communication skills.Have full working rights in Australia.Have a Driver's License and a car.If you require any adjustments, these can be made at any point throughout the recruitment process to support your application.Apply TodayPlease send your resume by clicking on the apply button.Learn more about our Melbourne recruitment services: Job Reference No: 06810-0013283717RL
