Job Overview
As a Senior UX Strategist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience of our products. You will be responsible for developing and communicating clear and compelling ideas to key stakeholders, driving collaboration between design, product, engineering, and marketing teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain a deep understanding of user-centered design methods and standard processes, fostering innovation and efficiency within the organization.
* Collaborate with product owners, engineers, and user research to create a vision for the product area, ensuring alignment and synergy across departments.
* Oversee multiple web and mobile application features, interfaces, and experiences, applying expertise to drive business results.
* Create designs that adhere to and extend the existing style guide, generating detailed final design specs and providing high-quality deliverables.
* Promote and educate others on new interface guidelines and design patterns, mentoring new design staff and driving knowledge sharing throughout the team.
* Set the vision for a product's creative identity, articulate it clearly and convincingly, and guide the team through its implementation, ensuring a cohesive and engaging user experience.
Required Skills
* 8+ years of designing and delivering products from start to finish as part of a cross-functional team, demonstrating leadership and strategic thinking.
* Strong communication and active listening skills, with an ability to build and develop close, trusting relationships and facilitate effective collaboration.
* Ability to distill and reframe problems, then define a framework for resolution, generating clear, elegant solutions for complex challenges.
* Expert knowledge of current design tools such as Figma and ability to quickly learn new tools as they emerge, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
* Experience developing software that is global in reach, universal in design, and designed for users of multiple languages and abilities, ensuring accessibility and inclusivity.

* Experience designing and thinking in design systems, not just single-purpose apps, leveraging modular and reusable design components.
