Same.
You might have the secret sauce we're looking for.
We're on the lookout for a part time Accounts Payable Officer who knows this role is about more than invoices and numbers. As part of our finance admin team, you'll be trusted to keep the back‐of‐house running smoothly, accurately processing and paying invoices, supporting the wider business, and helping maintain the strong supplier relationships that keep our iconic South Australian brand cooking.
Want to know more about being a Beerenberg Accounts Payable Officer? Here's what it says on the jar:
Responsibilities
* You'll be the engine behind our accounts payable function, accurately processing supplier invoices, matching them to purchase orders, coding correctly, and preparing timely payment files.
* You'll ensure supplier relationships run smoothly by reconciling supplier statements, credit cards, and manual payments, and maintaining accurate supplier records and credit applications.
* You'll support smooth financial close cycles by assisting with month‐end and year‐end tasks, reconciliations, and ad‐hoc reporting as required.
* You'll manage ExpenseMe end‐to‐end, ensuring employee expenses are processed, reconciled, and paid accurately within required timeframes.
* You'll provide dependable day‐to‐day support to the business, including stationery ordering and general administrative assistance when needed.
* You'll be a champion of best practice, identifying opportunities to improve accounts payable processes while ensuring compliance with all Beerenberg policies and procedures.
Qualifications
* Bring proven Accounts Payable experience and know exactly what "processed, reconciled and approved" really means.
* Are impressively fluent in MS Office and accounting systems, clicking through spreadsheets and finance software like it's second nature.
* Available to work 27.5 hours/week, Monday to Friday, with school‐hours availability and flexibility to cover leave when required.
* Have a laser‐sharp eye for detail, spotting errors faster than most people spot a typo in an email subject line.
* Play well with others, communicating clearly and building respectful relationships with teammates, suppliers and stakeholders.
* Stay organised and unflappable when deadlines collide, tackling challenges with practical problem‐solving and lateral thinking.
* Show up with a proactive, can‐do attitude, enthusiastic, hands‐on and always willing to pitch in to help the team succeed.
* Find satisfaction in collaborating with a small, dynamic team as much as you cherish opportunities to work independently.
* Love, love, love all things food, flavour and South Australian, Beerenbergy goodness.
