This role is pivotal in planning, managing, and delivering child health nurse care, providing clinical leadership for professional and clinical practice, education, and research.
The ideal candidate will possess a postgraduate qualification in Child and Family Health and current clinical practice experience in Child and Family Health.
Desirable qualifications include completion of an immunisation course approved by Queensland Health and lactation consultant qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide advanced clinical and problem-solving skills in the management of clients with complex needs
2. Plan, manage, and deliver child health nurse care
3. Provide clinical leadership for professional and clinical practice, education, and research
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
* Current practicing certificate
* Postgraduate qualification in Child and Family Health
* Current clinical practice experience in Child and Family Health
* Lactation consultant qualifications
