MacKellar is seeking an experienced Diesel Fitter to join our team supporting Stockpile Dozer and Co-Disposal operations in the Moranbah region. Key Responsibilities
* Perform maintenance, repairs and servicing on heavy earthmoving equipment
* Complete component replacements, overhauls and fault diagnostics
* Carry out preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing activities
* Conduct daily inspections and refuelling requirements
* Ensure maintenance tasks are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the maintenance team
* Work collaboratively to identify and implement practical maintenance solutions
What You'll Bring
* Trade qualification as a Diesel Fitter
* Post‐trade experience within the mining industry
* Experience maintaining heavy earthmoving equipment in a workshop environment
* Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
* Commitment to safe work practices and preventative maintenance principles
* Current Queensland Driver Licence
