We have an exciting opportunity for a
Quality Manager,
to join our
North Fremantle site
on a full-time basis
.
The role is responsible for leading the site's Quality function, ensuring all activities align with the Quality Engagement Plan and directives from the Allied Pinnacle Quality leadership team. You will lead the site's quality initiatives, ensuring the highest food safety and quality standards are met.
Key accountabilities include:
* Driving the development, implementation and maintenance of the Food Safety and Quality Management System
* Maintain existing third party audited HACCP and GFSI (BRC) certification.
* Build and lead a cohesive and technically competent quality team to enable you to provide a supportive and continuously improving "Quality Culture", ensuring compliance to the highest quality standards
* Policy development with regard to product quality, QA and QC systems and procedures, sanitation and manufacturing plant quality
* A strong emphasis on training and education, internal auditing, HACCP systems and incident management responses
* Actively monitor site quality performance and provide timely KPI reporting to management, identifying and resolving quality and food safety issues in a supportive and consultative manner.
The successful applicant will possess:
* Tertiary qualification in Food Science, Food Technology or a related field.
* Minimum 5 years' experience in the Food Industry or Quality Systems.
* Exceptional attention to detail and professionalism in communication, written and verbal.
* Proven ability to lead and manage a small team.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Experience with Lean manufacturing practices and processes.
* Proficiency in MS Office applications.
* Superior technical knowledge in food safety and quality management.
* Strong project management skills.
