About the Opportunity
We are looking for a dynamic, passionate, and experienced Practice Manager to lead our fantastic team of highly experienced doctors, registered nurses and administrative team members at our Hobart Medicare Urgent Care Clinic.
Core Responsibilities
* Ensure the Practice provides best practice episodic health care to the community
* Manage team performance of practice clinical and non-clinical employees
* Source and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, health providers, and community organisations
* Ensure all department reporting and follow up processes are maintained
* Demonstrate previous experience in practice management (ideally 3–5+ years' experience working with multidisciplinary teams will be highly regarded)
* Experience in financial management and reporting processes
* Good working knowledge of the Medicare Schedule
* Strength in building customer and stakeholder relationships
* Ability to manage a diverse range of team members and contractors
* Demonstrated patient-focused approach in service provision
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Qualifications
* Previous experience in practice management (ideally 3–5+ years' experience with multidisciplinary teams)
* Experience in financial management and reporting processes
* Good working knowledge of the Medicare Schedule
* Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to manage a diverse range of team members and contractors
* Patient-focused service mindset and strong communication skills
