Financial Strategy Manager
Job Description:
This role is responsible for leading strategic forecasting, budgeting, and financial modelling across a multi-entity business.
As the Financial Strategy Manager, you will be responsible for building and maintaining comprehensive financial models to support strategic initiatives. This includes developing and managing real-time financial dashboards tracking KPIs, cash flow, profitability, and project performance.
You will work closely with operations, estimating, and project delivery teams to review project costing, WIP, margins, and profitability. Additionally, you will deliver high-quality monthly board and executive reports, including variance commentary, risk insights, and trend analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead group-wide budgeting and forecasting, including annual budget cycles, rolling forecasts, and scenario planning across all entities and property trusts
* Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models to support strategic initiatives
* Review project costing, WIP, margins, and profitability with operations, estimating, and project delivery teams
* Deliver high-quality monthly board and executive reports
* Develop and manage real-time financial dashboards tracking KPIs, cash flow, profitability, and project performance
Requirements:
* Proven experience in financial planning and analysis
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to communicate complex financial information effectively
* Experience with financial systems and tools such as Power BI, Workbench, and Sharperlight
