Overview
Experienced Podiatrist required for a hospital locum with this regional service, 4 hours drive from Melbourne.
Contract dates: 22nd September – 5th December (can be flexible).
Location: regional service along the Murray River region, approximately three and a half hours north-west of Melbourne and five and a half hours from Adelaide. Accommodation available.
Responsibilities
- Focus is on lower extremity amputation prevention, mainly dealing with high risk feet and wound management.
- The team provides services across acute, subacute, and residential aged care settings.
Details
- Hours/days per week: 8:00am–4:30pm, Monday–Friday with a 30-minute lunch
- Reason for vacancy: backfill
- The Podiatry service has just over 2 EFT at present: 1 full time and 2 part time, supported by Allied Health Reception and located with Speech Pathology and Physiotherapy
- Locum rates dependent on experience
- Accommodation available
