Job Overview
The role of Human Resources Advisor involves providing support to the HR Manager in day-to-day workforce operations across the project site.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide frontline HR support to employees, escalating issues to the HR Manager.
* Assist with union relations and maintain the IR Risk Register.
* Assist with workforce reporting, including tracking of headcount, turnover and recruitment.
* Onboarding & Offboarding of project personnel.
* Coordination of camp operations and liaison with the camp operator including roster management, coordinating room bookings, coordinating arrivals/departures for all site based employees and sub-contractors.
* Workforce logistics coordination including liaising with Site Security and Transport providers to ensure effective DIDO operations.
* Managing social impact reporting and supporting wellbeing and engagement initiatives.
Requirements:
* Bachelor of Human Resources and/or Business degree.
* Demonstrable 'hands on' experience in a related human resources management/Advisor role operating as an effective HR professional and trusted Advisor.
* Knowledge and understanding of contemporary HR management and workplace relations.
* Ability to build relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to support delivery and create business value.
* Ability to build knowledge of the business environment and strategies; translating these into specific HR tactics and actions.
* Conduct investigations with best practice processes.
* Take accountability for own actions; address commitments with decisiveness, responsibility and efficiency.
* Ability to build relationships with key internal stakeholders/team members to support delivery and create business value.
* Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle.
