The Townsville Rehabilitation Unit at Townsville University Hospital delivers restorative care that promotes independence in daily living. The unit supports patients in regaining functional capacity through therapeutic programs tailored to cognitive, physical, and social goals.

Competitive salary and benefits
- Salary between $41.73 – $53.53 per hour (Nurse Grade 5).
- 4 to 6 weeks p.a. recreational leave with 14-17.5% loading.
- Generous employer contribution to superannuation of 12.75%.

About your opportunity
As a Registered Nurse, you will provide direct nursing care using clinical skills, education, and support to deliver best-practice patient care. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to help patients achieve rehabilitation goals and regain independence.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification.
- Current registration with AHPRA and a valid practising certificate.
- Evidence of vaccination or immunity to specified Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPDs).
- Compliance with Tuberculosis screening requirements.
- Completion of the Declaration of Serious Discipline Action Form.
- Criminal history check as per Directive 08/23.
- A probationary period may apply.
