We're seeking a skilled Category Manager to lead procurement plans and deliver value-for-money outcomes.
The Role:
This full-time position involves developing and implementing category strategies, building strong relationships with stakeholders, and identifying innovative procurement solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement effective category plans to meet business requirements.
* Maintain robust relationships with stakeholders to drive results.
* Discover and execute cost-saving and process efficiency initiatives.
* Manage the tendering process, source deals, and ensure delivery quality throughout the procurement lifecycle.
* Stay up-to-date on supply market trends, competitors, and product innovations.
* Establish and maintain governance and risk management practices within elected categories.
* Monitor supplier performance and compliance requirements.
About You:
To succeed in this role, you'll need exceptional interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills. Key requirements include:
* A customer-focused mindset and procurement contract management expertise.
* Solution-driven thinking and proactive relationship building.
* Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in Procurement, Business, Management, Commerce, Supply Chain, or similar.
* Experience as a Procurement Specialist or Category Manager.
