We are looking for a full-time or part-time Dispensary Assistant to join our team. You will play an essential role in supporting the Pharmacist. Your responsibilities will include helping to maintain the efficient operation of our busy dispensary and contributing to the daily activities in the front shop. By working alongside our team, you will help ensure our customers continue to receive the high-quality service they expect.

About the Role
* Serve customers for common S2/S3 medications
* Assist the Pharmacist with the preparation and dispensing of medications
* Receive and process customer prescriptions, including data entry and labelling
* Aid in Webster packing
* Maintain accurate patient records and ensure the pharmacy complies with all relevant regulations
* Provide excellent customer service to patients, answering their questions and addressing any concerns
* Support the pharmacy team with any other administrative or operational tasks as required such as finalizing claims and liaising with other health professionals
* Answer and direct phone calls
* Print and update shelf labels
* Assist with pharmacy inventory, including ordering, receiving and stocking of supplies
* Sort and scan scripts
* Always maintain the pharmacy in a presentable state
Skills and experience
* Friendly, patient, and comfortable assisting customers with a variety of needs
* Attention to detail, especially regarding accuracy in dispensing support and transactions
* A Certificate III in Community Pharmacy (SIR30216) is desirable but not essential
* Previous pharmacy experience is essential
* Current First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain one (at our expense)
* Ability to manage a busy environment calmly and effectively
* Reliability, punctuality, and a genuine enjoyment of teamwork
* Willingness to learn new pharmacy-specific skills or systems
* Professional phone manner
* Applicants must have a current Police Check (National Police Certificate) for employment or be willing to apply for one
