Ocius Technology is an Australian company dedicated to developing and deploying cutting‐edge Uncrewed Surface Vessels (USVs). Our vessels harness wind, solar and wave power to remain at sea collecting vital data for Defence and Civilian applications.
We are under contract with RAN, RNZN and USA and are responding in an agile way to an ambitious program of building and deploying multiple USVs for operations across Australia and beyond. You will be joining a fast‐growing organisation contributing to nationally significant projects.
About the Role
As a Supply Chain Manager, you will play a critical role in enabling Ocius' transition from research and development into scaled manufacturing and sustained operations. You will be responsible for building, diversifying and managing a resilient supply chain that supports production, maintenance and delivery of autonomous Uncrewed Surface Vessels.
A Typical Day looks Like
* Fostering a continuous improvement culture across the entire Procurement, Inventory and Supply Chain environment
* Owning the on‐going development of ERP‐based Supply Chain processes
* Partnering with Operations, Production and Engineering to ensure our Supply Chain is fit‐for‐purpose and delivering to business targets and goals
* Growing and developing a high performing Supply Chain team
Selection Criteria
* Tertiary qualification in a relevant field, such as a Bachelor of Business (Logistics and Supply Chain Management) or equivalent.
* Demonstrated 3‐5+ years' experience managing end‐to‐end procurement and supply chain activities.
* Proven ability to develop and manage supplier relationships, including working with contracts teams to establish supply agreements that improve cost and surety of supply.
* Strong capability in supply chain risk management, including identifying vulnerabilities and implementing mitigation strategies such as alternate suppliers.
* Experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems to support procurement, inventory and supply chain processes, including involvement in system transitions.
* Demonstrated ability to collaborate across engineering, production and operations, supporting demand planning, inventory optimisation and identification of Commercial Off‐The‐Shelf (COTS) solutions.
