**About the role**:
An exciting opportunity exists for a high-performing and motivated individual with strong policy analysis, project management experience and stakeholder engagement skills to join the Youth Justice Act Implementation Team within Victoria Police - **fixed term until 30 June 2027**. **About the role**
You will form part of a small, dedicated team responsible for coordinating and managing implementation of reforms arising from the _Youth Justice Act 2024 _for Victoria Police. The Policy / Project Officer will support the work of Victoria Police in delivering multi-year reforms. In this role, you will be required to support policy development, project management and stakeholder collaboration and deliver outcomes within strict timeframes. Policy development, the ability to work constructively with a wide range of stakeholders, absorb information quickly and provide succinct and accurate advice are key to success in this role.
**As the Policy / Project Officer and Project Officer your duties will include**:
- Supporting the development of policy and strategic advice to senior management
- Communicating with internal and external stakeholders
- Supporting project management work
- Supporting identification of issues and risks that may impact implementation of the reforms
- Contributing to a positive team culture

**Requirements and relevant information**:
- One (1) x fixed term until 30/06/2027, full time position. Part-time or other flexible work arrangements will be considered.
- This position is located at Victoria Police Centre, 311 Spencer Street, Docklands.
