Job Overview
The Distributor Business Development Manager will be responsible for promoting and distributing SKF products in Australia through effective collaboration with Industrial Distributors.
This role requires a strategic thinker who can work closely with various departments across the country to grow the SKF market and identify opportunities for expansion using SKF's diverse portfolio as the differentiator.
* Developing and executing business growth strategies specific to distributor-driven KPIs.
* Aligning SKF's full value offers with distributor development plans to drive mutual benefits.
* Providing assistance in forecasting for accurate stock profiling at distributors and local Distribution Centres.
* Regularly visiting distributor branches and key customers to support growth targets.
* Monitoring competitor information and feeding it back to management for action or information.
* Liaising with Marketing teams to promote SKF through joint campaigns, trade shows, social media awareness, webinars, and customer solution days.
* Assisting in developing SKF contracts by supporting distributor Value Added initiatives and pricing models that reflect contract value.
* Creating insights into Monthly Management Reports (MMRs) of business achievements.
