AYAN InfoTech is looking for Erwin Data Modeler to join an exciting project based in Melbourne. The role offers you the opportunity to contribute towards an extremely well structured and mature environment, working on sophisticated enhancement projects.
Required Skills & Experience:
* Design and Development of Data Models as per the customer requirements
* Understand and translate business needs into data models, database design and structures client solutions
* Strong SQL knowledge to perform analysis
* Understand the business requirements and create logical models including the documentation, data flow diagrams etc
* Data Vault experience will be added advantage
* Work closely with business analysts to understand the functionality, business use cases, conceptual design and accordingly data model theme is built
* Create logical and physical data models using best practices to ensure high data quality and reduced redundancy and maintain the models.
* Optimize and update logical and physical data models to support new and existing projects
* Must have worked on large size data warehouse implementation projects
* Analyze data-related system integration challenges and propose appropriate solutions
* Guide System Analyst, Engineer, Programmers and others on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces
* Perform reverse Engineering of physical data models from databases and SQL scripts ensuring no loss of business value/implication
* Interact with developers to keep a check on how data model is converted into a physical design of a database
* Validate business data objects for accuracy and completeness
* Work with the Application development team to implement data strategies, build Display
* Has Experience working on data modelling tools like Erwin
* Worked on source to target data mappings for the project
