Your next career opportunity
Reporting to the Director of the Dilin Duwa Centre for Indigenous Business Leadership, the Educational Designer will be responsible for shaping high-quality curricula and learning experiences across award and non-award programs. Working in close partnership with academic subject leads, you will design innovative courses, engaging learning activities, and robust assessments that meet the highest academic standards. Drawing on your expertise in online learning design, you will create frameworks that deliver effective, efficient, and impactful educational experiences, ensuring alignment with the University\'s teaching and learning priorities while contributing to a culture of innovation and excellence in curriculum design.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing and developing innovative curricula, learning activities, assessments, and case studies for award and non-award programs across digital platforms, while ensuring academic quality and relevance.
- Managing and enhancing Dilin Duwa\'s online learning platform, engaging with users, and identifying opportunities for improvement in teaching, learning, and student experience.
- Building and strengthening partnerships with industry and academic stakeholders, contributing to curriculum innovation, professional training, and the dissemination of teaching materials and research outcomes.
- Contributing and participating in research, leadership, service, and committee activities, while actively promoting the University\'s values of equity, diversity, inclusion, and wellbeing.
You may be a great fit if
- Hold a higher degree or equivalent qualification in educational design or a closely related discipline.
- Demonstrate proven expertise in developing and enhancing university-level teaching and learning materials, applying instructional design principles across both online and face-to-face delivery.
- Exhibit proficiency in using Learning Management System platforms, particularly Canvas, alongside strong digital literacy and data management skills.
- Possess academic research skills with a track record in education, educational design, or technology-enhanced learning.
