As a Senior Economic and Financial Modelling Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in shaping strategic decisions that impact the future of early childhood education in South Australia. Your expertise in data analysis and financial modelling will drive evidence-based decision-making within the Modelling and Funding Policy team.
The ideal candidate will possess technical expertise in modelling, data analysis, and data visualisation, with demonstrated experience in Microsoft Excel and coding (R strongly preferred). A strong track record of contributing to policy analysis and complex advice is essential, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable policy recommendations.
You will be responsible for supporting the design, operation, and review of data assets and models, undertaking data analytics services, and promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team. The successful applicant will bring exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders.
