Senior Accountant - Fully Remote (AU)
Be among the first 25 applicants. Findex is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our Virtual Operations Accounting & Tax team (AU). This is a permanent, full-time, remote opportunity open to anyone across Australia.
What will your typical week look like? This role focuses on ensuring client engagements run smoothly with a strong emphasis on client delivery.
- Prepare various tax compliances including but not limited to Business Activity Statements (BAS), financial statements, reconciliations and tax returns for companies, partnerships, trusts and a range of individual businesses.
- Ensure jobs are completed effectively by meeting technical standards and deadlines, within budget.
- Ensure compliance obligations are met with various providers and statutory authorities on behalf of clients within the office locations.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with colleagues and offices.

- Proven accounting experience within Public Practice and robust knowledge of Australian taxation requirements.
- CA or CPA qualification or be working towards this.
- Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with clients and work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Curious mindset, eager to learn and a passion for accounting and business advisory services.
