Finance and Costing Specialist
We are seeking an experienced Finance and Costing Specialist to join our taskforce within a Federal Government department.
About the Role
This is a high-performing team that requires an individual with strong financial skills, experience in costings, and knowledge of the Commonwealth Budget Process.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare detailed costings for new policy proposals.
2. Work closely with policy areas to ensure accurate, robust, and defensible costings.
3. Apply knowledge of the Commonwealth Budget Process to support budget submissions and briefing material.
Requirements
* Demonstrated experience in preparing costings and financial models.
* Strong knowledge of the Commonwealth Budget Process.
* Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
