We are looking for a dynamic person to join our Finance team in the Department of the Legislative Assembly.
The Finance unit is a small team that provides budget and financial management support for the department and also manages the travel and fleet functions for Members of the Legislative Assembly, electorate officers and departmental staff. In conjunction with other business units, the unit prepares detailed reporting for members on their use of entitlements, is responsible for asset tracking and reporting, coordinates ICT requests, and provides purchasing services for the department.
Tertiary qualifications in a finance or accounting field are desirable, but not essential. However, the successful applicant will have experience working with the application of accounting standards and practices.
