Programmed Skilled Workforce is a leading provider of managed workforce and training services.
Our client is seeking a Maintenance Electrician for their Production Facility in Mowbray.
You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment in our packaging plant.
Your expertise will help ensure minimal downtime and maximum operational efficiency.
This role involves working on Day Shift - 5:30am - 2:00pm Monday - Friday (OT shift on Saturday when required)
About the role:
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on electrical machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose electrical faults and troubleshoot issues promptly.
- Repair or replace wiring, equipment, and fixtures as needed.
- Work closely with the maintenance team to support mechanical and electronic systems.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and report on equipment status.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies.
Must haves:
- Proven experience as an Electrician preferably in manufacturing or packaging environments.
- A Grade Electrical Licence
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
