About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and strategic economic problem solver and leader to deliver economic policy research and analysis that informs major government decisions. You'll oversee projects with statewide economic significance and lead stakeholder engagement across government and industry.
You will join our Policy and Evaluation team within the Economics and Analysis branch in the Investment NSW group. The team plays a key role in guiding the NSW Government's response to economic opportunities and challenges through evidence-based insights and recommendations.

* Leadership & Team Management: Proven ability to lead and mentor a high performing team of economists
* Economic Policy Expertise: Strong experience in economic analysis, policy development, and communicating complex finding
* Strategic Thinking: S killed in identifying emerging trends and providing innovative, evidence-based advice in a dynamic environment
* Project Management: Demonstrated ability to scope, plan and deliver complex research projects on time and within budget
* Stakeholder Engagement: Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships and collaborate effectively across government and industry
