As we start to kick of the pre works on our latest project on the pristine Sunshine Coast we are seeking an industrious Contract Administrator to join our team for the exciting new 'Eden' Project in Caloundra.
About the Project
This is a significant opportunity to play a pivotal role in a major development. Eden is an $80M mixed-use multi-residential project featuring 11 stories and 179 apartments. Reporting to and supported by the Project Manager, you will work in a collaborative team environment, contributing to the successful delivery of this landmark project while maintaining an ethical, sustainable, and long-term focus.
About the Role
As a site-based Contract Administrator, you will control the financial and procurement requirements of the project across the four key pillars of construction – Time, Cost, Safety, and Quality.
Your key responsibilities will include:-
• Procurement & Cost – Managing the Request to Let (RTL) process, vetting CVs/HCVs, compiling payment certificates, and managing the monthly invoice calendar to achieve project deadlines.
• Time Management – Managing subcontractors and suppliers to ensure lead times and deliverables meet the program, including compiling EOTs
• Reporting – Producing weekly expenditure snapshots and facilitating monthly Project Control Group (PCG) reports to track the project
• Quality & Safety – Ensuring ITPs are created in line with the program, managing SWMS/MSDS for subcontractors, and conducting weekly safety audits
• Administration – Issuing SIs and NCRs, managing RFIs, and ensuring all contractual correspondence is recorded and clear
About You
If you are passionate about building and driven by the legacy you leave in each project and you have the following attributes, we want to hear from you
• Proven experience in multi-res/commercial projects (experience with projects in the $25M–$80M range is highly desirable)
• A tertiary qualification in Construction Management or similar
• Strong proficiency in Procore (an advantage) and experience with accounting software
• A valid Driver's Licence and Construction White Card
• The ability to build relationships easily with subcontractors and external stakeholders
