PERSOLKELLY are looking for several Botanists to work with an innovative Perth-based environmental consultancy aiming to grow their multi-disciplinary team.
**Job Tasks**
As part of the botany team, you will be working on a variety of projects at all stages, from safely carrying out field trips and analysing the data through to creating informative reports and project solutions for the clients. You will work closely with the spatial ecology team, getting exposure to a wide range of cutting edge spatial analysis techniques, as well as get to work in a wide variety of ecosystems for a number of diverse clients.
**Skills and requirements**
A number of skills are required to be successful in the role of Botanist, such as;
- Bachelor level degree in botany, environmental science, or equivalent.
- Experience working as a Botanist, such as participating in field surveys and plant identification
- Strong communication and report writing ability
- Experience with GIS software (such as QGIS or ArcGIS)
- Strong analytical skills
- Current Manual drivers' licence
Additional experience would be looked on favourably, such as;
- Post-Graduate qualifications
- Experience specifically within Western Australia as a Botanist

**_Salary and Compensation_**
- A competitive salary, based on experience and expertise
- Field days paid at 12 hours per day, above the industry standard
**_ Work-Life Balance_**
- 6 weeks of leave a year (4 weeks annual leave and 2 weeks of accrued time in lieu)
- Field days are capped at 70 days but can do more if desired
- Opportunity for flexible work arrangement (including part-time or working from home arrangements)
