Automation Electrician
Maintenance of automated systems and equipment is a vital role in any warehouse or distribution centre. As an Automation Electrician, you will be responsible for the upkeep and repair of complex machinery, ensuring that it runs smoothly and efficiently.
* Responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks on automated systems and equipment
* Diagnose and repair faults on conveyors, shuttles, and sortation systems
* Work closely with the site-based engineering team to minimize downtime and ensure consistent operational performance
Requirements
To be successful as an Automation Electrician, you will need:
* VIC Licensed A-Grade Electrician
* Experience in intralogistics, materials handling, or distribution centre automation highly regarded
* Strong PLC diagnostics/fault finding skills - ideally with Beckhoff, Allen-Bradley, or Siemens
* Confident reading schematics, isolating faults, and resetting systems
* Safety-conscious, reliable, and a strong communicator
* Full Australian working rights (Citizens or PR holders only)
